Shopping in Scotland
1. Where can you buy a
“kilt” in Glasgow?
- Find two shops, where you
can buy a “kilt”.
- Look for three “kilts” in the same tartan in both shops.
- Compare the prizes in both shops.
- Make a little presentation
about these shops and the “kilts”

- Compare the prizes in the shops.

about these shops and the “bagpipes”
- Find out how they sound and ad the sound to your presentation.

Shopping in the USA
Indian jewelry and crafts:
1. You are in the 4 corner area. (Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona)
You want to buy some
turquoise jewelry.
- Find shops in
"Albuquerque" and "Santa Fé" for Indian jewelry.
- Look for a bracelet
or some earrings, a bola tie or a buckle for a belt.
- Make a little
presentation about these pieces of jewelry and compare the
prizes.
- Maybe you can show
where the towns and the shops are.
2. You are in the 4 corner area. (Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona)
You want to buy some
rugs.
- Find shops in
"Albuquerque" and "Santa Fé" or "Gallup" for
Indian crafts.
- Look for 4-5
different rugs.
- Make a little
presentation about these rugs and compare the prizes.
- Maybe you can show
where the towns and the shops are.
3. You are in the 4 corner area. (Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona)
You want to buy
some "Kachinas".
- Find out what
a "Kachina" is.
- Find out who makes
"Kachinas".
- Find out where you
can buy some.
- Make a little
presentation of about 4 – 5 different "Kachinas"
