Sum­ma­ry of each spea­ker´s tasks

The FIRST GO­VERN­MENTspea­ker:
de­fi­nes the mo­ti­on,
gives the team­li­ne,
gives one or two ar­gu­ments.

The FIRST OP­PO­SI­TI­ON spea­ker:
ac­cepts the de­fi­ni­ti­on of the mo­ti­on, or re­de­fi­nes it,
re­buts the pro­po­si­ti­on spea­ker's ar­gu­ments,
gives his side's team­li­ne,
gives one or two ar­gu­ments.

The SE­COND spea­ker of eit­her side:
re­buts the pre­vious spea­ker's ar­gu­ments,
gives one or two new ar­gu­ments (from the team­li­ne)

The THIRD spea­ker of eit­her side:
re­buts the pre­vious spea­ker's ar­gu­ments,
may, but needn't, give one new ar­gu­ment (& only from the team­li­ne)

The REPLY spea­ker of eit­her side sums up the de­ba­te by:
re­view­ing and de­mo­lis­hing the other side's case,
re­view­ing his/her own case and team­li­ne,
but NOT in­tro­du­cing any new ar­gu­ments.
