Fol­gen­de Kom­mu­ni­ka­ti­ons­auf­ga­be ist für Übungs­zwe­cke nach einer Ein­heit zum Thema mul­ti­cul­tu­ra­lism/eth­nic mi­no­ri­ties/im­mi­gra­ti­on in der 10. Klas­se kon­zi­piert. Sie übt das dia­lo­gi­sche Spre­chen . Es wird emp­foh­len, den SuS eine Vor­be­rei­tungs­zeit von ca. 3 Mi­nu­ten zu ge­wäh­ren. An­schlie­ßend soll­ten die SuS ca. 5 Mi­nu­ten spre­chen.

Read the fol­lo­wing tasks. You have 3 mi­nu­tes pre­pa­ra­ti­on time, after which you should begin your dis­cus­sion with your part­ner. Your dis­cus­sion should last about 5 mi­nu­tes.

You be­lie­ve that im­mi­grants to Ger­ma­ny should be al­lo­wed to keep their own cul­tu­re. The go­vern­ment should pu­blish all im­portant do­cu­ments in the lan­gua­ge of im­mi­grants and should en­cou­ra­ge re­spect for the cul­tu­re of eth­nic mi­no­ri­ties by teaching more about them at school. Try to con­vin­ce the part­ner of the right­ness of your po­si­ti­on.

Be­fo­re the end of your dis­cus­sion, try to reach an agree­ment with your part­ner: What is the best po­si­ti­on for so­cie­ty to adopt?

You be­lie­ve that im­mi­grants to Ger­ma­ny need fully to in­te­gra­te and to adapt to Ger­man cul­tu­re, for ex­amp­le by learning the Ger­man lan­gua­ge and being taught Eu­ro­pean va­lues at school. Try to con­vin­ce your part­ner of the right­ness of your po­si­ti­on.
