Folgende Kommunikationsaufgabe ist für Übungszwecke nach einer Einheit zum Thema multiculturalism/ethnic minorities/immigration in der 10. Klasse konzipiert. Sie übt das dialogische Sprechen . Es wird empfohlen, den SuS eine Vorbereitungszeit von ca. 3 Minuten zu gewähren. Anschließend sollten die SuS ca. 5 Minuten sprechen.

THEMA: INTEGRATION OF IMMIGRANTS

Dialog:
Student A

Read the following tasks. You have 3 minutes preparation time, after which you should begin your discussion with your partner. Your discussion should last about 5 minutes.

You believe that immigrants to Germany should be allowed to keep their own culture. The government should publish all important documents in the language of immigrants and should encourage respect for the culture of ethnic minorities by teaching more about them at school. Try to convince the partner of the rightness of your position.

Before the end of your discussion, try to reach an agreement with your partner: What is the best position for society to adopt? 


Student B

Read the following tasks. You have 3 minutes preparation time, after which you should begin your discussion with your partner. Your discussion should last about 5 minutes.

You believe that immigrants to Germany need fully to integrate and to adapt to German culture, for example by learning the German language and being taught European values at school. Try to convince your partner of the rightness of your position.

 Before the end of your discussion, try to reach an agreement with your partner: What is the best position for society to adopt?
