How to use mo­dals: Mo­dal­ver­ben

Can, may, must, should sind mo­da­le Hilfs­ver­ben. Sie drü­cken aus, was je­mand tun kann, darf, muss, soll und kön­nen nur im sim­ple pre­sent ver­wen­det wer­den.

Modalverben

In der Ver­gan­gen­heit ver­wen­dest du Er­satz­for­men. Sie kön­nen aber auch für die Ge­gen­wart ver­wen­det wer­den.
