  • What emotions does the short story invoke: laughter, tears, smiles, anger, fear? Record some of your reactions.
  • Are there connections between the book and your own life?
  • Would you like to be one of the characters? Why (not)?
  • If you were the author, which ending would you favour?
  • Are there any changes you would make (name of a character, location of a scene, props etc.)
  • What are questions you would like to direct to the author / one of the characters?
  • Note down your favourite line?
  • Whom would you recommend the short story to, why?
