Topic 1 - Meet ‘Miss Pot­ter’ (watch sce­nes from the movie - ever­y­bo­dy )

Topic 3 – Tou­rism

  1. The homes of W. Words­worth and B. Pot­ter – pre­pa­re a page for a bro­chu­re
  2. In­for­ma­ti­on about the Na­tio­nal Trust (its aims and tasks; the jobs it of­fers to young peop­le)
  3. Sta­tis­tics – how im­portant is the Lake District for Bri­tish tou­rism?
  4. The land­scape, what to do, where to stay – pre­pa­re in­for­ma­ti­on for a bro­chu­re (pic­tu­res can be added after the trip) and de­sign at least one page
  5. Write a re­view of the youth hos­tel in Der­went Water and put it on the hos­tels web­site (after the trip)
  6. Write an ar­ti­cle for a young peop­le’s ma­ga­zi­ne: ‘The Lake District – a place for you?’
